The ancient city of Cagliari (Sardinia) dates back to the Bronze Ages. Its long history has been ruled by a number of civilizations, providing it with a complex and robust identitiy. The mountain overlooking the city is the setting of the Byzantine basilica and three Pisan-era towers that make up part of the fortification that solidifies the town center.
