Villa La Rotonda
Villa La Rotonda
Villa La Rotonda is a villa in Vicenza, Italy, designed by the renowned Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. Located near the city of Vicenza, the villa is one of Palladio's most famous works, and is considered one of the most influential buildings of the Renaissance. The villa is a symmetrical building with four facades, each of which is identical and has a portico with a pediment supported by four columns. The building is surrounded by a large garden, and is located on a hill overlooking the city. Villa La Rotonda is a popular tourist destination, and is considered one of the most iconic buildings in Italy.
