Wary in Wyoming circa 2014
Wary in Wyoming circa 2014
yoming is a state located in the western United States. It is the tenth largest state in the country, and the least populous. Wyoming was originally inhabited by Native American tribes, including the Crow, Arapaho, Shoshone, and Cheyenne. The first Europeans to explore the area were French fur trappers in the late 18th century. In 1868, Wyoming became a territory, and in 1890 it was admitted to the Union as the 44th state. Throughout its history, Wyoming has been known for its vast open spaces, and has been nicknamed the "Equality State" due to its strong commitment to equal rights for women. Today, Wyoming is an important source of energy, with large reserves of coal, oil, and natural gas. It is also a popular tourist destination, with its many national parks, monuments, and other attractions.
